Servicenow Knowledge Import Multiple Articles

When you import a document, the textual content of the document is used to create the knowledge base article. The articles support all editing features supported by the TinyMCE editor. All HTML code supported by TinyMCE, such as tables, lists, and links, as well as styles such as bold and italics, are retained. The images in the document are added as attachments to the knowledge base article and incorporated into the article text. You can import multiple files at the same time. When you close or exit the browser, all current downloads are canceled, but no items created from completed imports are deleted. A new article is created in the selected knowledge base and category with the contents of the downloaded document. If you have uploaded multiple documents, an article is created for each document. If you use knowledge internationalization, the language of the new article is set to the currently selected system language. Knowledge v2 articles are in the design state.

Knowledge v3 articles are placed in the Review or Published state, depending on the workflow associated with the knowledge base (Trust Publishing or Immediate Publishing). If errors occur during the download, a pop-up window will appear displaying the error. The Import Item button does not appear under the following conditions:. . .
